Just errands today. Lots of riding in the city.

It’s surprising how many big, heavy military reference books one can fit in a side case. Plus I set a new world record for riding!

Seems weird to ride almost 60 miles just to get gas, but I also stopped to get the side case key George found duplicated. Two keys cost me about $11. Must have gotten the new guy first.

Local club breakfast this morning. Great weather, good turnout—had to be 20 or more bikes. Took the long way home to use an E0 pump.

Sold the Indian FTR tonight. Got my full asking price.

Went to Horne’s at the corner to meet Kermit for breakfast. He’s 12 weeks out from his shoulder reconstruction and starting to ride again. Straight out and back run.

Had to go ride today—high in the low 60s but only 50 when I left around 9.30. In its mission to make me 100% insane, the bike started on one press of the button with utterly no heroic effort on my part. Choke on full, waited a few seconds after turning on the fuel tap and boom—running! So easy. So infuriating!
