World Superbike (WorldSBK/WSBK) announced today they have wrapped up discussions with a number of concerned parties – including FIM and circuit personnel – and arrived at a preliminary schedule of races for the remainder of the 2020 season.
To date, only one race has taken place, that being in Australia at the Phillip Island facility on 1-2 March. Toprak Razgatlioglu (Yamaha) won Race 1; Alex Lowes (Kawasaki) won Race 2. Other riders finishing on the podium were Scott Redding (Ducati) and Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki). BMW riders Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty finished 9/10 and 11/- , respectively.
